About
TeleHealth.Org.Au is a not-for-profit organization established in response to the coronavirus pandemic. It is a free community site for Health Practitioners to register & for the public to use. In these difficult times it is encouraged that Health Practitioners consider providing digital services to support Australian suffering from both physical & mental health issues.
As the COVID-19 virus wreaks havoc with the healthcare system, telemedicine is stepping up into the spotlight and helping healthcare providers and caregivers better respond to the needs of all Australians.
Telehealth is bridging the gap between people, health practitioners & health systems, enabling everyone, including symptomatic patients, to stay at home & communicate with health practitioners through virtual channels, helping to reduce the spread of the virus to mass populations & to the medical population.
Telehealth solutions should be used for non-urgent communication in an effort to reduce the pressures facing the healthcare system. By deploying telehealth solutions people who are suffering from physical & mental health conditions during this time can receive some preliminary support & care from home, without entering health care facilities, minimizing their risk of contracting or spreading the virus.
We are currently seeking corporate sponsors & individual supporters to help us promote our services. If you are able to assist please contact us via our Contact Form.
